Clarissa has been programming since she was 11. She went on to earn a computer engineering degree from UBC and an MBA in finance from Queen's — then spent two decades moving between deep technology and capital markets: real-time computer vision at Panasonic and ATR in Japan, fixed-income pricing systems at Barclays Tokyo, derivatives trading at TD Securities, and a $300M client book at TD Wealth.
In 2015 she founded Seekmi in Jakarta and spent eight and a half years building it into Southeast Asia's largest skilled-trades platform — 20,000+ service professionals, operations across 8 cities, enterprise clients including IKEA, Coca-Cola, Samsung, and Panasonic — before its acquisition in 2023. She has lived in 12 cities and speaks five languages.
