Clarissa has been programming since she was 11. She went on to earn a computer engineering degree from the University of British Columbia and an MBA in finance from the Smith School of Business at Queen's — two of Canada's highest-ranked universities. She is securities-certified in both Canada and Japan, and spent two decades moving between deep technology and capital markets: real-time computer vision at Panasonic and ATR in Japan, fixed-income pricing systems at Barclays Tokyo, derivatives trading at TD Securities, and a $300M client book at TD Wealth.
In 2015 she founded Seekmi in Jakarta and spent eight and a half years building it into Southeast Asia's largest skilled-trades platform — 20,000+ service professionals, operations across 8 cities, enterprise clients including IKEA, Coca-Cola, Samsung, and Panasonic — before its acquisition in 2023. She has lived in 12 cities and speaks five languages.

Founded and led Southeast Asia's largest skilled-trades platform: 1M+ jobs across installations, repairs, maintenance, and delivery. Raised multiple seven-figure VC rounds, led a 100+ person team, built real-time dispatch, SLA tracking, and payments platforms, and launched a B2B SaaS product used nationally by Panasonic and Technogym.

Partnered with Metta World Peace (aka Ron Artest), former Lakers superstar and NBA Champion — advising a next-generation logistics network on end-to-end AI and automation strategy: intelligent dispatch, real-time telemetry, fleet optimization, and predictive modeling to reduce cost per delivery and strengthen SLA adherence.
Engineering & Research
AI/ML computer vision at ATR's humanoid robotics lab — real-time saliency-based object detection and recognition built with SVMs. Real-time object detection and tracking at Panasonic AI Digital Imaging R&D (co-inventor on global patents), fixed-income pricing models in C++ at Barclays Tokyo, and embedded systems for environmental infrastructure.
Capital Markets
Interest-rate derivatives trader at TD Securities — traded interest-rate swaps, structured notes, and futures, and built forward-rate curves and hedging models in Excel VBA and Bloomberg. Investment associate supporting a $300M high-net-worth book at TD Wealth. Earlier, CEO of the Queen's University Alternative Assets Fund, a student-run hedge fund managing a seven-figure alternatives portfolio funded by the Queen's endowment. Canadian Securities Course certified.
SHARESTIX — Technology & Strategic Advisor
Teamed up with Snoop Dogg and his son Cordell Broadus on a creator-first music platform — advised on product architecture and AI-enabled music collaboration tools, and helped recruit and manage the engineering team through the early fundraising phase.

Clarissa currently focuses on investing in publicly traded AI companies. Her edge is unusual for a public-markets investor: she has built real-time AI systems, holds patents in computer vision, led engineering and operations teams of 100+, and sold enterprise software to the world's largest manufacturers — so she evaluates AI businesses as someone who has shipped the technology, not just modeled it.
